EVERY B&M Store will give £1,500 To Food Banks From It’s £1million Fund To Support Coronavirus

Statement from B&M Regarding Covid-19 Outbreak…
B&M is very grateful for the custom of the shoppers who have turned to us this last week.

We are proud to be a part of the communities in which we trade. B&M appreciates that many households in these communities will be facing extreme hardship due to the current crisis. As a community retailer, we would like to do our little bit to help people get through this.
We are today launching a £1 million donation across our 670 store network to local foodbanks. Every single store will provide a local foodbank with a £1,500 donation, so they can buy essential groceries, cleaning goods and toiletries. Go to www.bmstores.co.uk/news to apply.

We would ask that the purchases be spread out across 3 or 4 visits, so that our stores can keep stocks flowing. Our stores typically get a new delivery every single day and, if the purchases are sensibly spread out, this should not affect availability for our other shoppers, including the elderly and vulnerable.

Finally, we applaud everyone who works or volunteers at a foodbank. Thank you for the wonderful work you do.
